This clear red Sailor fountain pen is called Princess Kaguya and part Part of the 2020 Shikiori Japanese Fairy Tale series whose stories take place in four different seasons. Fall is the season represented by Princess Kaguya with an image of bright red cloth worn by the Princess.
It is based on the Chinese fairytale of a Bamboo Cutter. A bamboo cutter adopted an infant girl found inside a bamboo stalk and named her Princess Kaguya. Versions of the Tale suggest that she was sent to Earth as punishment or to ensure her safety during a celestial war. She returned to the Moon during mid-autumn, leaving her foster parents and friends on Earth.
