Does the 149 need any introduction? Arguably the flagship Montblanc pen, and every bit as good as its reputation.
The original 149s were made of celluloid, with the two smaller cap bands being sterling silver, until the late 60s; this is a 1950s example, with a stunning bi-colour 14c OM nib that has a touch of flex to it (although it's not a flex nib specifically). The 149's a chunky pen, and this one is in really good condition for its age.
