Montblanc Meisterstück 146 - 14kt F nib

Arguably the definition of a cigar-shaped fountain pen, and the reference point for everyone who makes a black pen with contrasting gold trim, from Jinhao to Sailor.

This is a 1980s example, with a monotone 14kt F nib, in fantastic condition despite its age.

I always used to think that Montblancs were overpriced and overrated, but while the first is perhaps still true for a brand new example, the second definitely isn't.
