Outside the Meisterstück range, Montblanc has produced a whole host of really good pens, and this charming vintage 1266 is a great example. It's got a fantastic inlaid EF nib, that's crisp and precise but lays a nice wet line, and the sterling silver cap and barrel has a pinstripe pattern. It's a little knocked about, as you might expect from a pen of its age, but it writes exceptionally.
