Based in the Scottish Highlands, with the usual fountain pen problem: there are more pens worth trying than anyone could ever reasonably own.
I enjoy well-made mechanical things in general – pens, watches, and anything else that's thoughtfully designed and built.
I'm not lending at the moment, but I try to be a careful borrower. Pens are cleaned properly, looked after, and returned promptly. I treat other people's pens with the same care I'd hope for with my own.
At the moment I'm particularly interested in Japanese fine nibs from Pilot, Sailor, and Platinum, but half the fun of Pensharing is trying something you wouldn't otherwise have considered.
